Jane Sandison-Smith, Independent Consultant - Forever Living
What made you start this business? I was previously a baby photographer, working for Bounty and I loved it. Having two daughters and a husband, being a photographer allowed me to work flexibly and that was something I wanted to continue. I actually started taking the Aloe Gel Drinking Gel for a year before I joined the business. Once I started I quickly noticed the difference it made to how I was feeling, coughs and colds I normally would get stopped. My skin improved and I generally felt healthier and more energised. I fell in love with the products and wanted to share it with others so started the business.
What are the challenges you face? People thinking they need a lot of time to do what I do.
How do you overcome those challenges? In fact you can do it super part time! In little pockets of time, 5 mins here 10 mins there, not watching the soaps and cutting down on the time you spend scrolling through social media you could have a steady second income stream!
What do you love about your business? The products and the flexibility it gives me to work around my family and lifestyle. I get to meet new people everyday, I love connecting with people. I get to see the physical and health benefits my customers achieve thanks to the products, plus Forever Living provides you with so much help and support to build your business. It provides you with personal development guidance, product training and support, all available online so again you can do it a time that suits you best.
Who are your target audience? Everyone!! Young, old even your pets! Everything is natural, the gel is basically a natural fruit juice. I always advice people with certain allergies or conditions to check with their GP before taking however nearly everyone can take or use the products.
What do your products offer your customers? Scientific studies have proven that what happens in your gut affects your overall wellbeing, from your weight to your mental health. Aloe Vera is one of the most gut friendly plants you can absorb. It can help with IBS systems due to its natural anti-inflammatory properties. The Aloe within the product range is 100% Aloe extract from inside the Aloe leaf, the clear gel you see when you cut open the leaf. Due to this it is great for helping the body absorb key vitamins better from other food sources. Nothing is tested on animals (all products are cruelty free) but lots of the products can be used on animals to help improve their overall wellbeing.
On top of that our Infinite Skincare range contains French Melon and collagen. The Serum from the Infinite Range has just been shortlisted in the Pure Beauty Products Awards 2017 for the Best New Premium Anti-ageing product.
How can people find out more about your products or start their own flexible business? There are a number of ways people can contact me to find out more, I’m always happy to meet them.
